She was born on 12th july 1997 in Pakistan, in a Muslim family. They were very poor and she was born at home with the help of neighbours. She was educated by her father, who is a poet and school owner. She is an activist for the right to education, especially female education. At the age of 15, when she was going in the bus after leaving school, she was shot in the face by a Taliban. Her father thought she was going to die and prepared her funeral. Now, she lives in Birmingham, she´s 22 years old and is a blogger, activist and a student. She wears a hijab on her head. She has received many awards and honors, the most popular is the Nobel Peace Prize.
