The Most Rebellious Princess in Europe

Once upon a time, there was a princess the most beautiful and rebellious in Europe.

She was born in 1837 and has inspired novels, films and legends…

One day, she went to a Palace party; the Emperor fell madly in love with her and then she married him at the age of 16.

She had three daughters and one son, but as she was so young, her domineering mother-in-law, took away her children, so they would not be educated by her.

She began to become depressed and to hate the strict protocol of the Austrian Court.

She only had to take care of her thin body. In fact, se had a gym equipment in her Palace bedroom.  She was admired for her small waist and for her brown, curly, extremely long hair, which reached her ankles.  Her bridesmaids needed 3 hours to comb her hair!

Anyway, the tragedy came when her young daughter died and her son Crown Heir committed suicide.

She was distancing herself from her husband and from Viena. Her tormented soul, only wanted to travel to beloved Hungary and other countries to forget her sorrows.

On a trip to Geneva, she was killed by an Italian anarchist.  She was 61.
