She was born on 3rd January 1951.

She is medium height. She has dark hair and dark eyes. Her father was a banderillero and her mother was a housewife.

She is a widow and hasn’t got any children. When she was a child, she was ill for four years, so she stayed at home, and her favourite hobbie was reading and writing.


She studied Psychology and Journalism. She has an extraordinary professional career as a novelist and essayist.


Her texts appear in several newspapers. Throughout her life she was interviewed more than 2000 people: Ayatika Jomeine, Yassir Arafat, etc…

Secondary school teachers have used her articles for decades.


She was a lecturer of creative writing in the Bighan (USA) and Miami University.

She also taught literature and journalism in the Humanist College and gave master lessons.

She has also taken part in symposiums in Salamanca, in Carlos II University, in Complutense, in Europe, in Asia and in Africa.


She has won several prizes. In 1978 she got Prize Intervile World. In 1980 National Journalist Literature Prize and many more.

She is collaborating in a fans newspaper.

She has published several novels: The full of the house, Beautiful and dark, The ridiculous idea of not going back, as well as stories for children.

Her books have been translated into more than twenty languages.

This year (2017) she has been awarded with National Prize of letters, appointed by the Ministry of Culture.
