A Committed Singer

She is a Spanish singer and actress. She was born in Madrid in 1951. She is married and has two children.
She has participed in more than forty films, thirty theatre plays and has released more than thirty-five albums.
She studied piano and solfeo and participated in radio competitions.
In 1964 she was already known as a new child prodigy and began to work regularly in radio Madrid. She also started in the movies with 13 years of age and later, she did theatre for Spanish television Studio One.
In 1973 she returned to sing with songs from whom he would later be her husband and began to take part publicly towards the left-wing politics of Spain.
At that time, she used music to protest against the political situation in Spain.
She participated in the first strike of actors and entered the Communist Party in Spain to compromise.
She lived in Mexico in exile for six months. She began to do musical tours in Mexico and Cuba. She is very well-known there as she always released albums in those countries.
